The phenomenon began in the latter part of November, when glowing orbs began appearing over four sensitive military bases used by the U.S. in the United Kingdom. In some cases, these facilities housed nuclear weapons. In one case, after a hovering reconnaissance drone was sighted, an attempt to intercept it failed.
These weren’t the first such instances. In December 2023, swarms of drones appeared above Langley Air Force Base in Virginia - not far from the CIA’s headquarters - and disrupted operations to the extent that a whole fighter wing was relocated. According to researcher Kevin Wright, “advanced assets were deployed to counter the threat, but no explanation has emerged.”
Suddenly over the past week, the numbers of people seeing these objects soared nationwide, with more than 3,000 reports to the FBI. And these weren’t your everyday hobby drones, far from it. Appearing in clusters in the night sky, some were the size of SUVs. They were brightly lit and loud, with wingspans of eight to ten feet. They often came in formations and didn’t give off heat like regular drones. Remarkably, they could maintain flight for over six hours and across distances of fifteen miles. They appeared to avoid detection by traditional methods like helicopters or radio, often shutting off their lights.
New Jersey seemed to be the epicenter for awhile. The objects did flyovers of the Picatinny Arsenal, which is reportedly involved in developing robotic drones that could counter weapons of mass destruction. Donald Trump’s Bedminster Golf Club received an overhead visit as well. The Federal Aviation Administration issued temporary flight restrictions over both properties. Then the commanding officer of a Coast Guard station reported one of its 47-foot motorized craft being followed by between a dozen and thirty drones - and another officer said he’d spotted about fifty drones coming in off the ocean.
By the end of the week, the geographical range of sightings extended to southern California, where one witness told a news station: “They’ll be going just straight one direction, and then just all of a sudden they’ll just zig or zag and keep going, or turn around, and just break really quick.” A spokeswoman at Camp Pendleton near San Diego said: “The command is aware of recent drone activity in the surrounding communities. No military unmanned aerial systems (UAS) training or activity has occurred during the time or place in question.”
The White House’s national security communications adviser, John Kirby, assured the public that “we have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or a public safety threat, or have a foreign nexus.” But the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and other federal and state agencies “continue to deploy personnel and technology to investigate this situation.”
While a rumor has spread (and been debunked) that these are being somehow catapulted from an offshore Iranian “mothership,” hundreds of American citizens aren’t pleased about what they consider a lack of transparency by officials. A number of Congresspeople have requested a full briefing and, on December 13, President-Elect Trump weighed in with a post on TruthSocial: “Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge? I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!!”
The Biden White House responded that “we don’t have enough conclusions to take that kind of policy action,” and spokesman John Kirby expressed concern about what such a drastic move could pose to public safety on the ground. At the same time, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy requested additional federal resources amid heightened worries from his constituents. And Maryland Governor Larry Hogan posted a video saying he’d personally seen “what appeared to be dozens of large drones in the sky above my residence,” and that he found the federal agencies’ statements that the drones pose no threat “entirely unacceptable.”
So that’s where things stand at the moment. I’ve been interested since my boyhood in UFOs, or what are now called Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs). And I recently signed a contract to write a book on the subject, focusing on the growing movement for disclosure of secret files maintained by the Pentagon and the CIA. To try to elucidate what’s happening now, I first reached out to Frank Camper, a retired 20-year veteran of the intelligence agencies and once part of the CIA’s Project Stargate.
Camper emailed me: “I have no direct knowledge about this drone incident, but experience, based on the confusion, denials and baseless guesses, are down to two possibilities. These are Chinese or Jihadist, preparing for near future drone attack (inauguration day?). [Or] these are US military practicing anti-drone countermeasures.”
But Camper was baffled by the government’s claimed inability to assess the situation. “One helicopter could photo-ID these drones. We got the same unknown song and dance about the Chinese balloons until it was undeniable.” He was referring to a high-altitude balloon that appeared over U.S. airspace early in 2023, which the Air Force eventually shot down off the coast of South Carolina. Analysis of the debris showed the balloon did carry intelligence-gathering equipment, but didn’t seem to have relayed any information back to China.
I then contacted Dr. Steven Greer. He is a retired physician who founded the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence in 1990, which has brought together thousands of people seeking to contact other civilizations and has confirmed more than 3,000 reports of unexplained sightings. Greer also initiated the Disclosure Project, which has brought forward dozens of government whistleblowers sharing classified information about covert programs related to UFOs and UAPs.
Dr. Greer shared with me a just-received email dispatched to him from a contact in an Army Special Forces unit. It was headed: “Radar Guy here, I know who is operating the drones.” And it begins: “25-year Radar Operator for a major agency here, just thought I’d let you all know what has been going on these past few weeks. The drones are part of a military ‘drill’ being conducted by space force. Everything is on a ‘need to know’ basis which is why there’s so much confusion.”
The U.S. Space Force, established at the end of 2019 as the newest branch of our armed services and according to its website is “focused solely on pursuing superiority in the space domain,” and then goes on to say: “Access to and freedom to operate in space underpins our national security and economic prosperity. However, space is no longer free from conflict. Potential adversaries are seeking ways to deny the U.S. access to the space capabilities fundamental to our way of war and modern way of life. They have developed an array of threats, both on Earth and in orbit, that continue to grow in scope, scale, and complexity.”
The revelations from “Radar Guy” continue: “What gets me concerned, and why I had to make this post, is that something big is about to go down. I happen to know that there are additional ‘full lock out’ drills that are scheduled to take place between now and Christmas Eve. These operations involve the full turnover of all radio/radar and aircraft communications to the military for several hours at a time. In conjunction with that, there are also scheduled satellite launches ‘off the books’ which have been occurring since October. They are setting up some kind of big ‘show’ for the public very soon. CNN was even at our facility shooting ‘pre-roll’ footage for a future story. I don’t know exactly what is going on, but all I know is this: GET READY!”
If “Radar Guy” is right, and “some kind of big ‘show’” is on the horizon, what might this be about? And why now? Just as the drone incidents began, on November 13th the House Oversight Committee held a hearing called “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth.” It began with testimony from Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, who mentioned “a new realization that we are not the only advanced intelligence in the universe” and went on to label UAP’s a safety risk for Navy pilots.
Also featured at the House hearing was Luis Elizondo, former head of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. Alleging that the U.S. and some of its adversaries possess UAP technologies, Elizondo said that “excessive secrecy….hide[s] the fact that we are not alone in the cosmos.” Earlier in the year, coinciding with release of his best-selling book Imminent, Elizondo published an op-ed in Newsweek (August 20, 2024), in which he wrote: “UAPs were not only able to fly unimpeded into our controlled airspace and combat theaters, but they were also performing in ways that far exceeded our technological capabilities. If an adversary like Russia or China had this technology, it would represent a quantum leap beyond anything we have, which is deeply concerning from a national security perspective.”
Dr. Greer believes that the ensuing drone deluge marks what’s known as a “psy-op” in the intelligence trade - an operation designed to manipulate and frighten the populace. This is related, he says, to knowledge by elements of the military-industrial complex of a coming massive disclosure of long-withheld evidence by a rogue group within Army Special Forces, who are fed up with the secrecy. According to Dr. Greer, their firsthand documentation will describe “how our military has been downing extraterrestrial craft and reverse-engineering their technology. They’ve retrieved bodies of so-called NHIs, Non-Human Intelligence, at the same black sites. They’ve been at facilities where the captured technology has been used to create manmade triangular and circular craft that look like UFOs.”
This isn’t the first time some of these allegations have surfaced. In July 2023, David Grusch, a US Air Force officer and former intelligence official, testified under oath before the same House committee about a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program that included “non-human” spacecraft and recovered “dead pilots.” Grusch said he’d been denied access to this program and his knowledge was secondhand.
Some of Grusch’s initial briefing information had come from Dr. Greer, who is now serving as senior adviser to the Special Forces team and has begun presenting a 312-page briefing book to key individuals within the U.S. and U.K. governments. Greer doesn’t know the precise date when the material will be released, but the group has said it will happen by mid-January, before the inauguration of President Trump - and that it will be historic.
Dr. Greer told me that he had no idea where the drones are coming from, “but they are definitely not extraterrestrial. They are a diversion, part of a psychological warfare operation trying to capture the momentum of disclosure and turn it into an alien invasion scenario.” As far back as 1999, Dr. Greer published a paper titled “When Disclosure Serves Secrecy,” in which he warned about “the use of UFO look-alike devices made by humans in an attack on Earth or military assets of Earth. This would be a well-orchestrated use of advanced human technologies to hoax an ET attack – all for the purpose of disclosing the truth with the desired military-oriented spin. In such a scenario, most of humanity will be deceived into believing the threat from space has arrived – and that we must fight it at all costs. This is nothing more than long-term social security for the military-industrial complex. There must be people who can expose this fraud.”
According to Dr. Greer, such exposure is precisely what the small group of Special Forces whistleblowers who reached out to him are looking to initiate. But might there be a “false flag” effort underway that utilizes advanced technology lifted from recovered UAPs, to make people believe we’re being invaded in one form or another? And could the wave of drones sweeping the country at evasive speeds and unheard-of sizes be a harbinger of “something big” being planned? That seems to be what “Radar Guy” is hinting at.
It’s something my newsletter will explore in greater depth in the coming weeks. Just as I was finishing this draft, I received an email from a man who’s been connected for years to Military Intelligence at the Pentagon. He wrote: “The big to-do about drones on the East Coast is a test program, which is currently a covert program being controlled out of Fort Huachuca, AZ. and Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO. This operation is under control by the ‘new’ secret Space Command. The secret unit is to be used in assassinations and bombings and to be used covertly in foreign countries to control the masses. It is currently undergoing testing here on the East Coast and soon to be at other locations in the USA - by the new Space Command.”
When I called my source, he concurred with what “Radar Guy” and Dr. Greer had told me. He went on: “We’re in the middle of a coup and the diversions are to keep people from talking about what’s really going on in these covert programs. I try my best to stay out of conspiracy shit - but what we’re talking about is getting ready to happen.”
Thank you for this enlightening post. I'm not afraid of drones or other inexplicable object(s) flying over our nation's skies.
First, our skies are protected and our forces wouldn't let an enemy with nefarious intentions come i to our airspace to begin with. Like Dr. Greer has explained to us exhaustively, other worldly beings and/or their crafts are benevolent and if they happen to come by and let us see them from afar it's to prevent us from destroying ourselves and/or to protect us from ourselves.
I was not aware of Farsight, thanks for alerting me and sending the links.
