My assistant with all things digital set up a Zoom interview for us with Michael Daw, whose research and writing dives deep into one of the most intriguing questions in science and philosophy. Is our consciousnes local to the brain, or can it transcend the boundaries of space and time? He’s the co-author, along with Chris Roe, of an award-winning paper on this subject, which explores leading models that might explain the nature of consciousness on phenomena like telepathy, remote viewing, and near-death experiences. Michael is based out of the University of Northampton in England, and his research also focuses on the role of diet - particularly fasting and vegetarianism - and how that figures into psychic experiences. I hope you’ll find our discussion worth watching.
